Cantankerousness Run Amok!!!

Before I begin, I must apologize for this being a day late. I served on an Emmaus team this weekend, with this week's winner and if you've ever been on a "walk" it is an absolutely incredible experience, but it also can be draining.

With that out of the way, I'm proud to announce this week's "The-Super-Awesome-Fantastic-Amazing-Person-Of-The-Week-Award" winner is none other than Triple B, Benjamin "Bumble" Bowman.

There is much that can, could, and should be said about Ben, but there is only so much space available on this blog. Ben is one of the strongest, most loving, and most caring men I have ever met. This is a person who just absolutely exudes the love and light of Christ. Quick to laugh, quick to pray, and quick to give a hug, it is virtually impossible to be in a bad mood around Ben.

I've not known Ben all that long, but I was immediately struck with just how special of a soul he is when I first met him. This is an opinion which has only grown and strengthened in the months that I've gotten to know him. Working on a "walk" with him this weekend, was a great affirmation of this. He worked so tirelessly and was one of the few of us who never seemed to hit those little momentary walls of tiredness the rest of us seemed to bump into every now and again.

His gifts as a pastor and his incredible prayers, were most certainly a great blessing to team members and pilgrims alike. For all of this and so much more, Ben is this weeks TSAFAPOTWA winner. Congratulations Ben! Your tireless service to Christ and your fellow man is both impressive and admirable. I am thankful to call you both friend and brother.
