Just a quick note to let everyone know that TSAFAPOTWA is being discontinued. I had harbored a concern from the very beginning that some people may take it the wrong way, or that someone's humility would be offended by being lifted up. I took careful steps with the pictures and making recipients aware that they would be featured. Still, some sensibilites were offended, which most certainly was never my intent. I understand this and respect it as well.
We are very good at tearing one another down and woefully inadequate at building one another up. The Bible calls us to build one another up, to enourage, and to edify, which was the singular purpose of TSAFAPOTWA; nothing more, nothing less. And I think TSAFAPOTWA was very successful at doing this.
It was an absolute blast to do while it lasted and I would absolutely encourage and compel everyone to continue the practice in their lives, homes, churches, and world. Thanks to those who read and commented on the winners and supported TSAFAPOTWA during its short life.
God Bless,
The Cantankerous One
PS...If this blog continues, which has been up in the air for a while, I have a new series I've been considering, which might be the perfect thing to replace TSAFAPOTWA. Not sure if I could manage to do it weekly, but I think I could do it on a fairly consistent basis...So, just in case, be on the lookout for "Encounters".

Well, I for one hope your blog continues. I have enjoyed it very much. Your writing style is a breath of fresh air. I would seriously consider the impact that you can make for the Kingdom of God with your testimony here. It is said that how we live our lives is a powerful testimony. I believe that and believe the same can be said for how we blog. :)
Plus, it is nice to find another KY blogger!
Angel, thank you so much for the kidness you have spread around the comment sections and for your encouragement. It is greatly appreciated.
And yes, it is very nice to find a fellow KY blogger :)
My pleasure! Your blog has quickly become a daily read for me. My husband swears it is because we have similar hair cuts, especially if I part mine in the middle and not to the side. LOL!
Beyond the hair...I too love Scooby Doo, the X-Men, and yes, Adam Sandler :)
It has become a yearly ritual for us to watch Billy Madison the night before school starts in the Fall and to sing the "Back to School" song from when he's waiting on the bus...
I love me some Adam Sandler! I have most of his movies (and will have the ones I don't have as soon as I can excuse the splurge). Oh.My.Goodness! I fell in love with him on SNL and have loved him ever since. The songs that he makes up just slay me!
And, Scooby Doo ... I have been a fan since I was a child. X-Men too. That is where the "Rogue" comes in on my blog. Plus, I have always been a bit unconventional. :) My husband says "eccentric" would probably be a better word but he is dyslexic and I blame that for his use of words! LOL
I don't want your blog to go away either!
You have said many nice things about the honorees. No one should be offended. If they thought they might feel uncomfortable they could have declined the offer. It was a wonderful thing you did.
